Andy Geeson

Few weeks after picking up a guitar, found myself in a punk band, aptly entitled 'Blunt Instrument'. We won a talent competition in the Student's Union bar playing 'God Save the Queen' (Sex Pistol's version, honest). We won it, the only problem was, we could only play the one song and were asked to do an encore, must have played it 6 times that night! Went on to write a few of our own after that, including one about a bloke who could only eat mice. When I moved to Wolverhampton, joined an extremely loud band on rhythm guitar, called..can't remember..., songs were so loud no one could recognise them, including us, although we did do, 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot' by Pat Benetar, which was alright. Changed to keyboards coz I felt like it, joined a band called, 'The Affectionate Punch', playing original poppy, rocky stuff, punchy tunes, punchy lyrics, released a CD, had a hand in some of the writing on that one. Played in a Doors tribute band called 'George Doors' (arf), then a Pink Floyd band called 'Us and Them', Wolverhampton based. Latterly joined this lot and well...the rest is history!

Pete Saker (Mr Lights)

A Floyd fan since the seventies (yes, he's that old !) He says he can't play anything, but wanted to be involved, so helping to set up then sitting at the other end of the hall with a beer while controlling a few lights with some sliders seemed like a good idea, how hard could that be ? If only he'd known !
